La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Danbury

Recommend this La Quinta to everyone! The rooms are always clean, with comfortable beds, a great workspace, a refrigerator, and a microwave. They also have a restaurant next door, Vans. I stayed here a while, and the cool, friendly staff never disappointed! They were always helpful and ready to make accommodations available for me. The sweetesttt! Thank you so much Senka, Kaila, Rochelle, Jason, and others at the front desk, I forgot their names. Also, the housekeeping team are so nice!

Had a great experience with my stay. The room was clean, included a microwave, mini fridge and rolling desk. The added features made the stay more convenient. The manager Senka and supporting staff are amazing. Thank you all for your hard work and commitment to excellent customer service.

Very large room, fresh coffee at the ready and Vans the restaurant attached had a very good smash burger. Continental breakfast starts at 6am which is great when you have to be up and on your way. Very friendly staff. Location is right off Route 84 very convenient.

Had a great time Love the bar and Skylar! She really made us feel welcome. They did a great job providing service and the Front desk clerks were very courteous and helpful. The grounds were smoker and pet friendly and plenty of space in the bar and restaurant to kick back and enjoy a drink. Dave & Buster’s style atmosphere and the Bar Pizza was pretty good. Very New Haven-‘ish and represented very well for Danbury. Fun times to be had at this LaQuinta and the atmosphere is very Bohemian

Close to the metronorth. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. I didnt spend alot of time in the hotel as I was occupied with a wedding. Very comfortable and staff was super nice, professional and diligent in their dedication to their jobs. I hope that all who visit have as great of an expierence as my family and I had. Lost a star for minor things because I can't half star it. Honestly I'd personally rate them a 4.5.

It’s so hit or miss here if I’m being honest. Sometimes we have great stays and sometimes we don’t. We stayed at the beginning of the month and must’ve had an older room because the bed was awful and the AC unit wouldn’t stay on. We both woke up so sore and because the air was on and off we’d wake up sweating then freezing all night. We stayed for New Years and this time the bed was amazing and it seems this room had an updated thermostat rather than controlling it from the unit itself and it never shut off in this room. Minor complaint about the grounds and snow, you may wanna make sure all of your entrances and exits are salted. We almost fell a few times at the side entrances. Other than that I’d say this is one of the more consistent and better priced hotels in the area.

Great nights sleep! Bed was comfy, room was clean, everyone was pleasant! I love that they have removed carpets. I've always felt that carpet holds a lot of germs and dirt you just can't get with a vacuum . Will definitely stay in a LaQuinta again!

Still here for another week but so far pleasant. Pros: The hotel is centrally located to everywhere we needed to be and there is convenient grocery stores just a couple minutes away. The daily breakfast is exceptional with many choices and the coffee was great!. The breakfast area/lobby is very nice. It looks like they are planning upgrades to the lobby and rooms so it should be an even better experience next time if we travel this way. Vans, the attached restaurant, is great for a quick bite without having to leave the grounds. They open at 4pm so plan ahead no lunch options available at the hotel unless you order Doordash, etc.. The hotel staff are nice and accommodating. The office chair in the room is absolutely the best one I've sit in and I've been searching online for one for my home, but with no luck. If you are planning on selling them with the renovations please let me know before we leave! We arrived the day after the blizzard of '26 so everything was snow covered, but the parking lot was totally clear and we had no trouble getting in and out. Cons: The wifi is a bit sketchy and drops frequently, so if you have work to do like me bring another source of internet other than the hotel wifi (unless there is an upgrade planned with the renovations). In room 108 there is a pretty big draft under the heat unit and there are carpet nails sticking up through the carpet under it so don't get too close with barefoot. I'm sure this will be taken care of during the planned renovations. Other than these little things the stay was pleasent and I would definitely recommend and return.
